Fabrica Gallery Extension
Posted by Liam Croft - 30 October 2012

CDMS Architects have recently been working closely with Brighton’s Fabrica Gallery on a bid for Arts Council funding for an exciting new extension to their premises.

Located in the Grade II listed Old Holy Trinity Church in the heart of the Old Town, we have composed a three-storey extension tucked into a corner of the existing building.

Half hidden behind a retained Sussex flint wall, the extension more than doubles their administrative space.  Stepping respectfully away from the existing building, it creates new views of the existing stained glass windows, creating a hidden gem in this forgotten corner.
