Completed Development in South London
Posted by Chris Scarr - 19 November 2015

This project in South-West London has recently been completed on site by our Developer Client.  The scheme consists of 6 two-bedroom apartments, and 6 five-bedroom houses with associated car parking, cycle parking, bin stores, and amenity spaces.  The front of the buildings have a stepped design and the upper floors are clad in a dark grey zinc with large corner windows to maximise the light internally.  The floor plans have been generously laid out, with large master bedroom suites and open plan living spaces.

CDMS Architects Wins Frank Marshall Award
Posted by Chris Scarr - 13 October 2015

CDMS Architects has won the 2015 Frank Marshall Award for Townscape Improvement.  The award, presented by the Sevenoaks Society, is in recognition of the best improvement or contribution to the townscape of Sevenoaks over the preceding two years.

The existing 1980's office building, which is located just off the High Street in the centre of Sevenoaks was tired in appearance and needed modernising both internally and externally.  The windows were replaced, brickwork was rendered and the hung tiling was replaced with a more contemporary zinc finish.  Inside, an extensive refurbishment was undertaken and new office accommodation has been provided for the town, together with an impressive penthouse apartment on top of the existing structure.

New Show Home
Posted by Chris Scarr - 28 July 2015

We have completed the interior fit out of a new show home in Crofton Park, London.  The house is part of a high quality eight-unit development, which CDMS Architects have designed.

The interior design combines contemporary pieces with retro 1960's styles and patterns to achieve a modern but homely feel.  At ground floor, the layout was adapted to introduce a large sliding feature walnut door which creates a flexible master suite or bedroom-bathroom-study at ground floor.  A large open plan living space has been divided in to three separate spaces with a built in picture frame shelf which links them together.  Further bedrooms and bathrooms are included at first floor and external dining and relaxing spaces have been formed within the rear garden.
