CDMS Architects was appointed to refurbish and reconfigure the interior of the property which included the reinstatement of original layouts and many of the building’s original features.
The ground floor includes a new centrally located open plan kitchen, featuring a central island and storage cupboards designed as wall hung joinery. The main living room is located at first floor, with the works including the formation of a new structural opening to create a study/library at the rear.
The master suite is located on the top floor with a newly designed ensuite bathroom. Within the basement, a new bedroom has been formed, with a bathroom created in lieu of an existing utility room.
Other changes to the property include restoring and incorporating mouldings and various details to match the buildings original style.
