Wealden Hall House is a Grade II listed building built in the 16th century. Over time there have been a series of extensions and refurbishments constructed in the style of the era in which they were built. The scheme re-configures the internal arrangement of space into a more cohesive usable area. The new extension includes a new kitchen and family room to cater for the clients modern lifestyle.
By upgrading the existing garages at the rear of the property and linking them to the main dwelling via a frame-less glass link, a new family bathroom, bar and snooker room, large enough to house a full size table, have been included. The new elements of the design are sympathetic and sensitive to the existing building whilst modernising its function and use more in line with contemporary culture.
